Samala Rice Cake is one of the famous pasalubong
that hails from Cavite. It is made up of glutinous rice and coconut milk. I have
a patient from Cavite who would always bring us a box of Pat and Sam's famous kakanin
whenever he visits the clinic.
The said kakanin was really good and heavy and
not too sweet. I heard that Pat and Sam have the Pinipig and Malagkit version. I would love to try other varieties as well as their sapin
-sapin. Hope to visit Cavite soon.
